Daphne Peacock is the local veterinarian who speaks in a light Scottish accent and takes care of sick and injured animals, and often visits Joe Laski's farm to check on his horse Trojan.
In the episode "Sting", Fairport's eyes become infected by some spilled farm chemicals, and Daphne helps him to recover by using a new yet expensive eye-drop ointment, which, fortunately, she is eventually able to obtain thanks to a sponsored walk organised by Josh. Her voice is provided by Barbara Flynn, who voices all the other female characters.
